Henry Cavill. Like Mamoa, whether he's clean cut or wearing a lumberjack beard, the man is a beautiful work of art!

Thrilling Thursday!

I've decided that Thursday's I'll showcase the hottest guys I can sniff out online.

I'll start this Thursday tradition with one of my favorites: JASON MOMOA

Long hair, short hair, thin build, beefy build, beard, no beard, glasses, bare faced...he's gorgeous no matter how young or old.

Enjoy the thrill!

It's tea time

So this is my first blog entry.

And I'm going to use it for confession...

I've cheated on coffee.

I love coffee. It's rich, warm flavor. Aromas. The little kick I get from it's lovely caffeination.

I drink a few cups everyday in fact.

But recently I resumed watching Downton Abbey and in response my desire for a tall cup O' Joe has waned.

I say recently resumed because after a certain character died I took a long hiatus from the Crowley family and their wonderfully eclectic basement buddies. This person's death upset me. Yes, I know the character is only fictional, but darn-it, why do the good shows (and books) always have to kill off beloved characters (George R. R. Martin, you brilliantly sadistic monster) ?

Anyway, I needed to mourn a bit before I immersed myself in that elegant world again.

So, as I mentioned, no longer donning black, I recently resumed watching and I missed it.

I missed it so much in fact, and became so invested in the characters and the costumes and the conflicts and the courtesies that I threw coffee to the curb and...well...began sipping tea from china cups.

Coffee mugs are substantial, like the drink they hold. They're normally bold and robust and gripping some of them takes moxy. You grab a coffee mug, clutch it, wrap both hands around it. Some might even slouch in the process.

A tea cup, on  the other hand, is delicate like it's contents. The best are nearly see-through and one never snatches at it. One lifts it daintily from the tray by it's tiny little handle, extending ones pinky finger while sitting tall in ones seat and smiling coyly at the visiting Earl or Count or Prince.

I feel extraordinarlly refined when drinking tea in vintage china while watching Downton.

One draw back, however...I have no basement buddies in my abbey.

Just two unimpressed dogs.

And, oddly, they appear disinclined to refill my cup when I call.

Oh well.

I'm torn between the love of my life, Joe, and my newest fling, Earl Grey.

What's a girl to do? Other than a threesome...

Now that's got merrit.

Are you a coffee guzzler or a tea sipper? Any Downton fans out there?
